Theo judges the Premier League Enterprise Challenge

Theo recently visited the Millbank Tower to judge the Premier League Enterprise Challenge Final alongside Graeme Le Saux and Steph McGovern. Students from the Swinton High School in Salford were named as deserved winners of the 2015/16 Challenge. The school was representing the Manchester United Foundation and beat five other Premier League and Football League finalists to be crowned champions.

The Premier League Enterprise Challenge is a national competition which gives thousands of youngsters from around the country the opportunity to generate ideas to solve a real-life business scenario set by Premier League Chief Executive Richard Scudamore. More than 1,000 young people from school years 9 and 10, representing 29 Premier League and Football League Clubs, took part in this year’s Premier League Enterprise Challenge.

Comic Relief Chief Executive Officer, Kevin Cahill, said: “It’s been fantastic to work alongside the Premier League once again as part of this exciting initiative.

“The Premier League Enterprise Challenge uses the power of sport, in this case football, to engage and excite young people to learn about business. The skills they learn will be invaluable in later life and ultimately this is what Sport Relief is all about – bringing the entire nation together to help change lives.”

Theo had the following to say of the event: "Enterprise is what I do, it's what I believe in. This scheme is excellent. We have got engagement, passion, community, entrepreneurship and youngsters. That's an incredibly powerful cocktail to send messages out to your community."
