Robert Dyas as we know it today started with just £5. That's how much Robert Dyas had to invest when he arrived in London in 1872 from County Meath, Ireland. He used the money to open his first shop and by the time he passed away, he had built a thriving family business with 18 stores, laying the foundations for what the brand is today.
