Theo Official Opens Post Office in the Robert Dyas Store on The Strand

On Friday March 15th, Theo Paphitis and CEO Kypros Kyprianou attended the official opening of the new Post Office in the Robert Dyas store on the Strand, in London.   The Post Office is now on the lower floor of the Robert Dyas store, and celebrated the High Street partnership.

The Post Office was represented by Debbie Smith, Retail CEO and Tom Moran, Network Development Director, with Mark Field MP and Cllr. Louise Hyams (Deputy Cabinet Member for Public Protection and Licensing) and Cllr. Tim Mitchell (Cabinet Member for Environment and City Management) also in attendance.

Theo Paphitis cut the ribbon to officially open the Post Office, that is now open to customers seven days a week.  He said: “"I'm delighted to help officially open the first Post Office in a Robert Dyas store today.  It's a fantastic location and customers can now shop with us and have 7-days a week access to the Post Office too.  It's a win-win!"

Deepak Valani , Post Office Area Network Change Manager said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to pay their bills, withdraw cash from their bank accounts, and send and collect their mail at a time and place that suits them best.” He added: “We know how important our services are to customers, and are confident that this new Post Office alongside our 11,500 branches across the UK, will ensure that people in the community have easy access to our services.”
