On the evening of Wednesday April 11th, Theo Paphitis joined local Manchester businesses, and the Many Hands team and supporters, including Chairman, Maurice Watkins, at the 2018 Many Hands launch, all in aid of raising money for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.   Taking place at the National Football Museum, a number of local businesses were keen to hear more about the good work of the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, and how being part of the campaign will include benefits such as networking, media exposure and the opportunity to meet Theo.

The Many Hands competition challenges businesses to compete against each other to raise a minimum of £1,000 within 6 months.  The shortlisted companies are then invited along to pitch their ideas and results to the judges, including Theo, in a bid to be crowned the winner.

During the evening, Theo was also interviewing by former Manchester Evening News Editor, Paul Horrocks, with Theo fielding questions on what he would do differently if was starting up now and what it is that interests him when he looks to buy a business. Theo told the audience that it is about the people, a great person with an average idea, is better than an average person with a great idea !

Good luck to all those entering!
