Theo Paphitis breathes fire into Dragons’ Den Series 18 on BBC1

Theo has once again been asked to step into the Dragons’ Den to cover for a fellow dragon.  This time, Peter Jones was unavailable for filming for a few days last year, so Theo stepped in and filmed three episodes of Dragons’ Den Series 18, in Manchester.

The three episodes will air on Thursdays June 3rd, 10th and 24th, as Theo will once again breathe fire into the den and hear out the business pitches.

On Theo covering for him during these episodes, Peter Jones, said: 

“Since Dragons’ Den began 16 years ago I haven’t missed a single day’s filming - and I chose Theo to stand in for me, whilst I was self-isolating, as in my opinion he remains one of the great past Dragons. I’m looking forward to seeing him back on the show for a few episodes.”

Theo added: “I had such a good time when I returned to the Den in 2019, that stepping into the tall fella’s big shoes was an absolute pleasure . Having sat in three out of five Dragons chairs now, I’ve only got 2 to go for a complete dragon set! There’s also never been a more important time to give entrepreneurs a shot at making their dreams a reality, and for that reason I declared I was 100% in.”
